Make a Gift to the Penn Transplant Center

Perhaps your life has been touched in some way by the Penn Transplant Center and you would like to give back, to help other patients undergoing transplantation and their loved ones.

Your gift to the Penn Transplant Center will support our ongoing patient care and education as well as innovations and new endeavors, such as transplant technology and immunosuppressant research, and our Transplant House, a residence facility for patients and families awaiting transplantation at the Penn Transplant Center.

Many Types of Giving
We offer various giving options, including:

  • Retirement Gift Plans
  • Gifts of Stock, Bonds, and Mutual Funds
  • Gifts that may provide income to you or to someone you name to be the income beneficiary

Ways to Direct Your Gift
You can direct your gift to the following uses, among others:

The Barker Penn Transplant House

 

Funds to help acquire and maintain a facility near the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, to provide low cost temporary housing for transplant patients and their families.

Patient and Family Services

 

Funds a range of support services for patients and families, including companions for patients during long evaluation day, lunch vouchers, parking, and housing costs.

 

Penn Transplant Center Patient Education Fund

 

Helps educate patients and families about the transplantation process, and organizes patient education seminars and videos for each program.

 

Clinical Research

 

Further enhancement of the Penn Transplant Center's Clinical Research Program. This is of great importance to improving the quality of lives for our transplant recipients.

 

Prescription Fund

 

Helps fund the cost of post-transplant medications for patients in need.

 

Faculty and Staff Enrichment

 

Supports the professional development of the Transplant Center physicians, nurses and administrative staff.

 

Facilities Improvement

 

Funds to improve and expand both inpatient and outpatient clinic areas.
