Vascular Surgery
Vascular minimally invasive surgeries include:
- Peripheral Angioplasty and Stenting - Blocked
arteries (usually in the legs) are repaired
using small catheters and balloons, which are
inserted into the artery through the groin.
- Aortic Stent Grafts - Aortic aneurysms are
repaired with a stent graft placed through the
arteries in the groin. A small groin incision
is used instead of a large abdominal incision.
