Services and Programs

Rheumatologists in the Penn Sjogren's Syndrome Center collaborate closely with physicians in the Department of Ophthalmology and the Department of Oral Medicine to provide a complete diagnosis and treatment program for patients suffering from Sjogren's.

Once Sjogren's is suspected, physicians will reqeust a series of blood tests, opthalmolgic tests and dental tests. A course of treatment is then determined, which could include prescription products, over-the-counter medications and non-medications strategies. Treatment should also include high quality dental and eye care.
