Volunteer Opportunities at Penn Presbyterian
For over a century, Penn Presbyterian Medical
Center has provided outstanding health care services
for its Philadelphia neighbors, and for patients
who travel from out of state for its innovative
medical therapies and distinguished specialists.
Founded in 1871, Penn Presbyterian began as a small 45-bed facility on two and a half acres. Since then, the hospital has grown to a modern 16-acre campus which contains over 300 beds and encompasses an impressive array of medical institutes, specialty centers and research programs.
Penn Presbyterian's physicians offer more than just treatment for symptoms and conditions; they treat patients as individuals, tailoring medical care to fit the precise needs of each one. But it takes more than the most talented physicians and caregivers to become one of the region's most highly respected healthcare providers. Penn Presbyterian's community spirit lives in each person who walks in its halls – and we invite you to become part of that community.
