Community Outreach
An important part of Penn Presbyterian's mission
is reaching out to the community. Penn Presbyterian
Medical Center and UPHS' Office of Community Affairs
jointly sponsor a speaker's bureau and can arrange
to have a health professional speak at off-campus
community meetings without charge. Staff members
can also be scheduled to represent the hospital
at health fairs, bringing information on hospital
services, screenings and prevention.
Physicians and other health professionals also
present free seminars on campus throughout the
year.
