Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania
Health System
The human spirit and extraordinary
nursing knowledge reign strong at the University
of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS). With a
long, rich history of nursing excellence, our
health system and its entities strive to provide
our patients with the care, comfort, monitoring
and action that matters most during their times
of need. You see the spirit and knowledge of
our nurses and the strength of their commitment
down every hallway and in every patient room.
Nurses are driven by their knowledge
to act, whether it's with patients and their
families or each other. We support their efforts
because we know that what drives them to help – wherever
and whenever they can – is what makes them
the very best at what they do.
