The Penn Epilepsy Center is equipped with state-of-the-art
digital electroencephalography
with the capacity to record up to 32 channels
of EEG data. Prolonged outpatient EEG, capable
of recording up to 72 hours of data, can be performed
with or without video monitors. In some cases,
these studies provide the ability to diagnose
and classify epileptic and non-epileptic seizures
without requiring a hospital admission.
