Adult Cystic Fibrosis and Related Diseases

This program offers state-of-the-art clinical care and counseling for patients 18 years of age and older with cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and related pulmonary disorders. A multidisciplinary team including a physician, an advanced practice nurse, a physical therapist, a respiratory therapist, a social worker and a dietitian cares for patients in the program.

The program is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and recognizes the unique needs of adult patients with chronic respiratory disease. Practitioners in the program work closely with the Advanced Lung Disease and Lung Transplant Program at Penn to optimize timing and referral for lung transplantation as another option for select patients. The main goal of the program is to help each person achieve and maintain the best possible quality of life.
