PENN HOME INFUSION THERAPY

As primary providers of infusion therapy services to residents of Philadelphia, the surrounding five counties and New Jersey, our nurses care for a diverse group of individuals. The majority of our patients require progressive therapies, and we provide care that is both high-tech and highly compassionate, in a setting where patients feel most comfortable – their own home. This is a wonderful option for the patient and their family – all made possible by our clinical staff.

From the registered nurse to the pharmacist, our clinical staff are infusion specialists. To provide the most appropriate patient care, Penn Home Infusion Therapy professionals focus on specific diseases in areas such as neurology, nutrition, hematology-oncology, cardiology, respiratory and pulmonary, utilizing some of the latest available therapies.

Our home infusion nurses work directly with Penn's nationally-recognized faculty to develop protocols for treating patients with infusion therapy. We provide a variety of therapies to our patient population including:

  • antibiotics
  • pain management
  • chemotherapy
  • nutrition
  • factor therapy

Our highly skilled nurses are supported by an equally skilled team of Pharmacists who work together to deliver the highest level of care to our patients. Penn Home Infusion Therapy nurses are able to coordinate the patient's care closely with Penn Care at Home and Wissahickon Hospice, which allows them to offer a more comprehensive and efficient treatment program to the patient.

We offer professional development opportunities along with an exceptional benefits package. Our pharmacists and pharmacy techs are extensively trained in infusion therapy and the Nurses undergo up to three months of customized orientation. This ensures that our care teams have the skills and knowledge they need to assess, educate and care for their infusion patients.

Our professional and administrative staff are dedicated to clinical, educational and compassionate excellence, and we are consistently looking for ways to improve quality of care.

Bring your career to Penn Home Infusion Therapy where your skills will be highly valued.
