In our pursuit of relentlessly advancing the fields of occupational and physical therapy, we provide inpatient and outpatient occupational and physical therapy services that emphasize disability prevention, restoration to maximum potential, and continued wellness. A clinical atmosphere is provided, where excellence in patient care, education and research is integral to the daily care of our patients.

Committed to discovering the best clinical practice in these disciplines, we are developing the future of these professions through clinical and academic excellence. Our 12-Month Physical Therapy Orthopaedic Clinical Residency Program for our outpatient units and our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Training Fellowship Program that offers an ACGME fully accredited four-year residency (PGY 1-4 levels) in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are proof of our dedication to attracting the best and brightest in the Rehabilitation field to UPHS.

Your clinical expertise will be called upon to develop and interpret the results of evaluations and treatments, while setting appropriate goals and formulating treatment plans. Additionally, you will also implement treatment and monitor responses to intervention, then modify treatment as necessary, ensuring that thorough documentation of patient care activities such as evaluations, progress notes and discharge plans are complete.

At UPHS, you will be given considerable time with each patient as you provide quality and compassionate care. This special attention to patients and their families has brought us worldwide recognition for our therapeutic expertise. And with our stellar reputation, we're quickly becoming the therapy provider of choice and the employer of choice for many therapists. Our diverse and interesting patient populations across the continuum of care as well as our academic teaching and funded research programs will provide you with incredible opportunities for professional development.

Whether you choose to work at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, or Penn Home Care & Hospice Services, you'll find teamwork and collaboration with the entire therapy team and other health care professionals as you enjoy an outstanding compensation and benefits package that includes 100% pre-paid tuition, the opportunity for professional development, and a career that offers flexibility and variety.

Coming Soon! As part of our commitment to advancing the field of medicine, we will soon be opening a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation facility in Center City Philadelphia (formerly Graduate Hospital.)
