Teen Volunteer Program
Benefits
The benefits of becoming a HUP Volunteer extend beyond your volunteer assignment.
- Teen Volunteers who work a minimum of eight (8) hours through a meal hour will be issued a hospital meal voucher for their meal while they are on duty as a volunteer.
- Exposure to medicine or healthcare field of choice
- Once volunteers complete the minimum of 50 hours of service over a 3-month period of time, certificates confirming the exact number of service hours are awarded to deserving teen volunteers.
- Becoming a volunteer does not lead directly to employment at HUP or admission to a college program, however, it does provide volunteers with experience and valuable skills for future education and employment
