Acid-Peptic Disorders
Penn provides diagnosis and treatment of acid-peptic
related disorders, including H.
pylori treatment
of ulcer disease and refractory gastroesophageal
reflux disease (GERD). This program addresses
the needs of people with unusual forms of acid
peptic disease that are difficult to manage with
standard therapies.
Comprehensive evaluation is available for patients
with the following acid-peptic syndromes:
In some instances, people may require more than
one consultation, and evaluation may include
various tests coordinated through the motility
and physiology laboratory. Most procedures are
outpatient, and every effort is made to schedule
all tests on the same day.
