About the Penn Pancreatic and Biliary Center

One of the busiest pancreatic surgery programs in the United States, the Penn Pancreatic Biliary Center treats diseases of the pancreas, bile duct, liver and stomach.

University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) physicians participate in the ongoing development of new surgical techniques for these diseases and are conducting the research — from fundamental molecular-based studies to translational research on novel treatments — that is advancing the field.
