Penn Geriatrics at Penn Presbyterian
In addition to a full-time geriatrics division,
Penn Presbyterian includes a 36-bed specialty
unit that enhances the continuity of care for
older adults who require hospital care.
A specially
trained multidisciplinary staff -- including
physicians, nurses, a pharmacist, a nutritionist
and a wound care specialist -- provide cutting-edge
geriatric care and create a comfortable setting
dedicated to the unique needs of elderly patients
and their families. The geriatric program
is part of Penn's Institute on Aging.
