Services and Programs
Your company's key executives are its future.
Their health and well-being are critical to your
firm's long-term success, but the demands of today's
business environment are great. Stress, travel
and long hours can place executives at risk. A
comprehensive, preventive health program can help
ensure their health and your company's future.
Penn Executive Health, the University of Pennsylvania
Health System's executive health program, offers
comprehensive screening and risk-reduction services
for businesses in the greater Philadelphia region.
The program is flexible, tailored to key executives'
needs and schedules.
You already have invested in the people who are
making your company successful. Protect your investment
and your executives' quality of life by helping
them stay healthy.
Executive Health Evaluation
Our comprehensive evaluation includes a lifestyle
assessment, and personal and family medical histories.
A personal questionnaire is followed by a complete
physical exam and appropriate screening and diagnostic
tests. Every aspect of our evaluation is based
on the latest, nationally recognized guidelines.
Using this personalized approach, we can make
sure each person receives the appropriate assessment
for his or her age, current health status and
identified risk factors and avoids unnecessary
physician visits or diagnostic testing.
If diagnostic testing is necessary, a full range
of state-of-the-art services are available on
site, including:
- Electrocardiograms
- Exercise testing
- Laboratory testing
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Pap smear
- Mammography
|
- DEXA scanning
- Peripheral vascular testing
- Pulmonary function testing
- Visual acuity, glaucoma screening and
audiometric studies
- X-rays
|
We'll schedule the evaluation so that it's convenient
for your executive. The complete evaluation typically
takes two hours. When your executive arrives,
he or she will be met by one of our staff members,
who will escort him or her to the practice area.
Staff also will be on hand throughout the evaluation
to guide patients through the facility and ensure
the evaluation is completed in the shortest possible
time.
After the Evaluation
Each participant in the Executive Health Program
receives a confidential evaluation and preventive
health plan. Patients may request that a copy
be sent to their primary care provider. We contact
each Executive Health Program participant to review
the results of his or her examination. Our medical
team also is available for phone consultation
on personal or family health matters at any time.
When necessary, we can recommend a primary care
doctor or a specialist to our Executive Health
Program participants if they require follow-up
care and do not have a doctor of their own.
