High Risk Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG) Program

Penn Cardiac Care at Pennsylvania Hospital's High Risk CABG Program is a valuable resource for patients who have been denied treatment at other institutions. This program is designed for patients:

  • with previous CABG
  • who are re-operative
  • who have congestive heart failure
  • who are in need of bypass surgery to treat coronary artery disease

Penn Cardiac Care's cardiothoracic surgeons utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities including PET, MRI angiography, and noninvasive techniques. Our surgeons also work closely with cardiac anesthesia and critical care teams to ensure that you receive the highest level of care.
