As part of its feature article on women and heart health
entitled "The Heart of a Woman," the February
2004 issue of Good Housekeeping listed the “44
Top Cardiac Centers for Women” (in the northeast
section of the United States). The Hospital of
the University of Pennsylvania was included in
this prestigious listing.
Timothy
J. Gardner, MD, a cardiothoracic surgeon at Penn,
was also noted in the piece for his expertise in
heart care.
