The Philadelphia
Adult Congenital Heart Center
is a unique program that combines the resources
and expertise of two major medical centers: The
University of Pennsylvania Health System and The
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Thanks to advances in medical and surgical care,
children with congenital heart defects are now surviving
into adulthood - and thriving. In the United States, as
many as one million adults are currently living with congenital
heart disease. These patients face unique challenges and require
care from specialized health care providers who will help manage
their medical and surgical needs.
Led by Gary
Webb, MD, one of the world's foremost
authorities on adult congenital heart conditions,
our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to the
care of patients throughout their adult lives.
Our team is comprised of:

- genetic counselors
The Philadelphia
Adult Congenital Heart Center provides patient
