Outpatient Psychiatry Center
The Outpatient Psychiatry Center of the
Penn Department of Psychiatry offers comprehensive
psychiatric services, including diagnostic evaluations,
psychotherapy service, medication management,
group and couples therapy.
The Center offers specialized treatment of
bipolar disorder, treatment resistant depression,
anxiety disorders, substance abuse, neuropsychiatry,
geriatrics and medical-psychiatry issues.
Services
- Assessment Clinic - provides comprehensive evaluations by senior trainees in psychiatry under the supervision of attending and consulting staff.
- General Ambulatory Practices - provides evaluations and psychopharmacology treatment by senior trainees and faculty in psychiatry and includes specialty psychopharmacology programs such as Bipolar Disorders, Medical-Psychiatry, Treatment-Resistant Depression and Anxiety Disorders
- Geropsychiatry Practices - specializes in care for individuals ages 65 and older
- Residents' Psychotherapy Practice - provides short and long-term psychotherapy on a sliding scale with senior trainees in psychiatry under the supervision of attending and consulting staff
- Psychiatry Private Practices - provides psychopharmacology treatment and psychotherapy with diagnostic assessment with attending psychiatrists and licensed psychologists/licensed master's level therapists.
