in-depth evaluation of an individual’s
current and past history, including prior treatment,
precipitating and perpetuating factors, and psychological
aspects of the presenting condition.
The comprehensive
assessment guides the treatment plan that typically
includes medications and psychotherapeutic
interventions.
The CCS is targeted in particular
to individuals or their treating physicians
who have concerns about the accuracy of their
diagnoses, their level of response to current
treatments, side effects or inadequate functional
recovery.
