Communication and Follow-up

Given the complex nature of these disorders, family members are both welcomed and encouraged to participate in the consultation process. Communication between an individual’s referring physician and our center will be rapid and efficient.

We strive to provide the referring physicians with straight-forward treatment recommendations that they can implement. After the consultation, a detailed, type-written evaluation will be sent to the patient and referring physician expeditiously. We have an extensive network of referral options for patients requiring ongoing follow-up treatment.

Follow-up consultations are offered at six months to one year after the initial evaluation to assess the progress of the treatment recommendations.
