The Penn Sleep Centers provide state-of-the-art diagnostic services and treatment for the full range of sleep disorders.
Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Penn Sleep Centers are the clinical arm of Penn's Center for Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology, one of only three Sleep Centers in the United States designated by the National Institutes of Health as a specialized center for research in sleep.
Clinical Research Options
In addition to the program listed above, Penn also offers patient care programs that require patients to be enrolled in a clinical trial. Patients who are eligible to participate in research can receive treatment at no cost.

Division of Sleep and Chronobiology
The Unit for Experimental Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, is recruiting individuals interested in participation in sleep and sleep deprivation research studies. We investigate the effects of sleep deprivation and shortened sleep on performance measures, including reaction time and memory function.
