When to Contact the Surgeon

Call the doctor’s office if you experience any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever greater than 101 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Severe pain
  • Redness or drainage surrounding the incision
  • Persistent nausea or vomiting
  • No bowel movement in three days
  • If the JP drainage becomes green
