Gary Korus, MD, FACS
Dr. Korus joined
the Penn Faculty in 2004 after completing a fellowship
in gastrointestinal surgery at the Medical College
of Wisconsin. He graduated from Case Western
Reserve University School of Medicine and completed
his surgical residency at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Korus has developed a multidisciplinary approach
to the surgical treatment for obesity at Penn
Presbyterian Medical Center as part of the Penn
Bariatric Surgery Program. He also has clinical
interests in diseases of the esophagus and stomach
and in the application of minimally invasive
techniques.
