Program Follow-up

Ongoing patient care is an important part of our program. Following surgery, patients return for follow-up appointments. These appointments are scheduled:

10 to 14 days following surgery
At this appointment, patients will meet with their surgeon and those who have a JP drain will have it removed.

Six to eight weeks following surgery
During this appointment, patients will meet with their physician and discuss their progress.

Six months and one year following surgery
Patients will continue to meet with their nurse or physician to monitor their progress. Additionally, the program dietitian will continue to meet with patients.

Need an appointment? Request one online 24 hours/day, 7 days/week or call 800-789-PENN (7366) to speak to a referral counselor.
