Surgery Preparation

We can't take risks that are too highPrior to surgery, patients undergo surgical, medical, nutritional and psychological screenings. Each patient will also attend a preoperative nutrition class, which provides the patient with extensive diet education.

 

Patients who wait have time to think about itIf the patient desires to pursue surgery following the necessary screenings and is deemed a suitable candidate for bariatric surgery, a surgery date will be assigned once insurance approval is obtained.

 

Write down all the things you wantFollowing the initial screening, patients must undergo a series of medical tests, medical clearance, and cardiac clearance, if necessary. It is recommended that patients begin this process immediately after the initial screening.
