About the Center

Chronic pain can severely impact your physical, emotional and psychological well-being, ultimately affecting your quality of life. This kind of pain, which often continues for 24 hours a day, seven days a week for three months or more, is often related to disease and/or an injury. Whatever the cause, the goal of the Penn Pain Medicine Center is to alleviate your pain and help you find relief.

As the leading pain management medicine centers in the Philadelphia region, the Penn Pain Medicine Center is a resource for people with any painful condition that lasts for more than three months and is unresponsive to routine primary care.

Our multidisciplinary team includes leading experts in the field of pain management from across the country. Certified by the American Board of Graduate Medical Education, many of our physicians are not only board-certified in Pain, but are also teachers, helping to educate the next generation of pain medicine specialists about the latest advancements in the field.

At the Penn Pain Medicine Center, we treat many different types of pain including:
